Hi! My name is Lev Savitskiy and I’m a professional fine art photographer from Ukraine, living in Los Angeles, California.

My first ever attempt at shooting was at the age of 13. My brother gave me a film “Yashica” camera as a present. Honestly, I didn’t like the whole film process that much, so I’ve stopped shooting pretty quickly and started playing with Photoshop, which I like a lot! I was never good at drawing, but in Photoshop I could actually create anything!

This lasted until probably 2005, until I’ve got my first digital point-n-shoot camera. It turned out digital photography is exactly what I was waiting for! I could finally mix both my passion for photography and my skills in photoshop. Since then I’ve managed to work in almost any genre there is.

I can’t say I have a specific genre that I shoot in, since I like photography in general and refuse to limit myself to only one specific subject, but my most beloved ones are landscapes, composites, beauty portraits and everything in between.
